Yesterday I submitted two comic pages.
I've decided that I'm going to be submitting a LOT more.
Since I want to be a comic book artist/mangaka and all, I should be practicing it religiously anyhow. Starting to get the hang of it, and I'm actually a few pages into a Naruto Doujin.
It's a BL one, so I don't know if I'll get around to posting it/finishing it ever.
But who knows, maybe I will.
BTW it's Shino/Kiba, Shika/Chou and Neji/Lee.
Not very popular pairings, but they're my faves so whatev.
I actually thumbnailed a chapter or two of a comic I made up off of the top of my head, I posted one of the pages too (comic practice page 1) might end up trying to make a real comic come out of that later.

So lately I've been broadening my horizons.
I started reading a few new mangas (online of course, since I'm poor as hell right now)
Katekyo hitman reborn: God yes! awesomly twisted, and one of the most original manga's I've read in a long time!
Plus Gokudera is a total beast.

School Rumble: As always, I'm completely obsessed with this one. I loooove the characters (most of them anyways *coughericough*) and I'm diggin' the HanaiMikoto going on recently. and I didn't believe it could, but It's actually got me starting to like HarimaYakumo. Still not feelin' Eri though, I must say.

Paradise kiss: I like it. Cool style, and a lot different then what I expected.

Beauty pop: God....I shouldn't like this series...but I totally do. God what's wrong with me! It's such a rip off of Ouran, right down to the freaking character designs! But instead of being a host club, they're the scissor project, a group of hot and righ (dejavu) guys that makeover only the prettiest of their adoring herd of fangirls. There's the leader Narumi(Tamaki/Hikaru twin, only he's a total ass) nail artist Kei(COMPLETE HONEY CLONE), buisnessman/beautician Ochiai (Kyoya clone). Then the heroine of the series Kiri Koshiba. I've gotta say, I like her. A lot like Haruhi even dressing as a boy in competitions against S.P., but a lot meaner, and more chill. Kind of an anti-marysue, which I like. Then there are the two other characters that join S.P. the maseuse Seki (mori clone, only dumber, nicer, and not as attractive), and Iori the aromatherapist (Tamaki clone, only he's american). But there are some other characters that are more original like Kiri's two best friends, the seemingly gay Taro-tard, who is nearly a stalker of the scissors club. Then the nerdy Aoyama who has a hopeless crush on Ochiai.
But despite all of this, and the shallowness of the whole "lets make girls pretty so boys will like them" crap. I really like it. Kind of like reliving Ouran, which is NEVER a bad thing.

XXXholic- I gave up on this one, although the art is beautiful, and the story interesting enough, I just couldn't bring myself to keep on with it.

Zombie powder- I like it, of course. There's no way I could hate anything by Tite Kubo. It's funny, cool, interesting, deep at times, action-packed, and beautifully drawn. Just like Bleach ^^

B-reaction: Although I'm all for the girl kicking ass plot of this one, I just couldn't stomach the 8+ panty shots per chapter.

Kekkaishi: I really like this one, the designs are cool, the story unique, the characters funny. I'm definently gonna read them all.

Wish there was a school rumble fan club...sigh. I've become slightly obsessed with that series you know. It's infectious! The kind of story that should frustrate you with all of it's seemingly pointless story lines, and endless character list, but the thing is...it doesn't! I always want more! Plus the characters are all so awesomely f'ed up anyways.
